Ready to Take the Next Step in Your CRA Journey?

CRA Certification is an exciting opportunity to bring together everything you've learned through your CRA education and hands-on experience.

It's your opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge, clinical reasoning, and practical application of Contact Reflex Analysis® as you pursue your Certified Practitioner of CRA (CPCRA) designation.

Certification isn't simply about knowing reflex locations or memorizing sequences. It's about understanding what you're finding, recognizing patterns, and being able to put the pieces together to understand the story the body is telling.

Our goal is to see you succeed — and to recognize the knowledge, understanding, and proficiency you've worked hard to develop.

Preparing for Certification: Practice Makes the Difference!

One of the most important ways to prepare for CRA Certification is throughconsistent, hands-on practice with your patients or clients.

We strongly encourage candidates to practice CRAdaily, applying the sequences, locating reflexes, evaluating scores, and interpreting findings on a variety of individuals.

Our recommendation: Aim to complete at least 100 CRA evaluations on patients or clients before Certification Weekend.

Repetition develops muscle memory, strengthens your ability to recognize patterns, and builds confidence in your findings. The more familiar you become with the techniques and sequences, the more you can focus on understanding the story the body is telling rather than concentrating on remembering each step.

The goal isn't simply to reach a number. It's to develop the proficiency, accuracy, and clinical reasoning that come from applying CRA consistently.

Practice builds confidence. Experience builds understanding. Both are essential to becoming a proficient CRA practitioner!

The 100-evaluation goal is a recommendation, not a requirement for certification.

How the CRA Certification Process Works

CRA Certification is a progressive evaluation process. Candidates demonstrate their proficiency at each stage before moving forward.

Step 1: Clinical Vignette Review & Approval

Candidates submit ten clinical vignettes:

  • Three (3) using CRA Module 1 sequences.

  • Seven (7) incorporating CRA Module 2 scoring and sequences.

These cases provide an opportunity to demonstrate how you apply CRA principles, interpret findings, and connect the pieces of each patient's story.

Each vignette is carefully reviewed. Feedback, clarification, or corrections may be requested to help you demonstrate your understanding.

All ten vignettes must be reviewed and approved at least two weeks before Certification Weekend.

We encourage early submission to allow time for review and any necessary revisions.

Approval of all ten vignettes is required before advancing to Certification Weekend.

Detailed instructions will be provided in your Certification Application Packet.

Step 2: Certification Examinations

Once your vignettes have been approved, you'll move forward to the Certification Weekend evaluations.

The examination process includes:

  • Written Examination: Demonstrating your understanding of CRA Module 1 and Module 2 principles, reflexes, scoring, sequences, nutrition, essential oils, and clinical application.

  • Practical Examination: Demonstrating CRA techniques and sequences, evaluating findings, and explaining your clinical reasoning.

  • Clinical Vignette Presentation: Discussing two selected cases from your submitted vignettes and demonstrating your ability to understand the patient's presentation and connect CRA findings. This portion may be completed via Zoom before the weekend.

Each stage is designed to recognize your knowledge and practical proficiency. Candidates must successfully complete each evaluation before advancing to the next.

OPTIONAL: Six-Week CRA Certification Prep Course

More than exam preparation — become a stronger, more confident CRA practitioner!

JoinDawn Hoezee, CPCRA, for six Monday evenings of in-depth CRA review, clinical discussion, and practical application.

Together, we'll work through the material in both the Module 1 and Module 2 textbooks, reviewing CRA principles, reflexes, scoring, sequences, techniques, and clinical application.

But one of the most valuable parts of our time together is working throughreal patient vignettes.

As participants share their cases, we'll examine symptoms, CRA findings, scores, and relationships between body systems. We'll ask questions, share observations, and help one another recognize details that may otherwise be overlooked.

Why are we finding what we're finding? What is the body prioritizing? How do the pieces of the story fit together?

As we work through case after case, we'll strengthen our ability to recognize patterns, develop clinical reasoning, and better understand the story the body is telling.

Past participants have consistently shared that the prep course helped them do far more than prepare for certification. It helped them better understand their patients and become stronger CRA practitioners.
